Shantay Bolton, Ph.D., MBA, is currently serving as Vice President of Human Resources at Tulane University. Shantay has more than 16 years’ experience in human resources, implementing leadership development programs, talent management, organizational development (OD) and strategic employee development programs. She also provides thought leadership on generational differences in the workplace and coaching of multigenerational project leaders. She is the creator of E3©: Engage, Educate, Empower – an Action Learning Model for Employee Engagement and Coaching, and has used it to build teams in government, corporate, higher education, and nonprofit industries.
Shantay is a professional devoted to connecting theory to practical application through HR functions and OD practices. Her recognized strengths include setting strategic direction and implementing initiatives that enhance organizational performance.
Shantay is a certified MBTI practitioner, certified executive coach, certified business coach, organizational development certified professional and 6-Thinking Hats/Parallel Thinking trainer. She is a graduate of Alabama A&M University with a bachelor’s in psychology and a master’s in counseling psychology. She received her Ph.D. in organizational psychology (industrial concentration) from Walden University. And, she acquired an MBA in corporate business from Florida International University.
