  • One of Tulane’s key strategic initiatives is to significantly expand our innovative, ground-breaking research. As the volume and scope of our research grows, our research infrastructure must evolve to support it, so we are focused on building better and more effective processes and systems.
  • The team is providing project management and change management support for the implementation of Cayuse as our new grant lifecycle management system.
  • Implemented 2022 through 2024, with integrations to our existing core systems, this new solution will support the management of all sponsored research projects, from the submission of a proposal through the closing out of a project and help ensure consistent compliance with extensive regulatory requirements.
  • Following successful implementation of Phase 1, Phase 2 will provide:
    • Improved functionality to support the management of research involving animals, as well as research involving hazardous materials
    • A new module to support our researchers and administrators in the management of grants by providing real-time access to relevant key performance indicators, allowing them to manage budgets more conveniently and effectively.
  • More information can be found on SharePoint (requires Tulane log-in)

  • The Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a widely accepted set of policies and procedures intended to optimize the security of credit, debit and cash card transactions and protect cardholders against misuse of their personal information.
  • In order to ensure compliance with these important standards, key stakeholders are collaborating to develop and implement policies in line with these standards, with our team leading the project.
