WaveWorks Enters Its Next Chapter: Introducing Business Transformation and Optimization
WaveWorks is entering its next chapter at Tulane University. Following the implementation, ongoing fixes are underway, but we are also focused on what comes next. Hence the role of our new department, Business Transformation and Optimization (BTO): keeping WaveWorks current, responsive, and aligned with the evolving needs of the university community. To these ends BTO brings together expertise across technology, business processes, training, user support, and operations.
The work will go beyond maintaining the system. Each quarter, Oracle introduces new features and capabilities, and the BTO will evaluate, test and assess the new functionality and how this can benefit our work at Tulane. Just as important, the team will continue to listen to Tulane employees, gather feedback, assess enhancement requests, and use these insights to help shape future improvements to WaveWorks.
Of course, we will continue to offer training, drop-in sessions, professional development opportunities, user support, and ongoing communications to help the Tulane community navigate WaveWorks with greater confidence. The team will also prepare for emerging capabilities by testing new functionality with real-world scenarios before they are implemented.
The bottom line: WaveWorks will continue to evolve alongside Tulane and the employees who use it, and BTO will help make WaveWorks a stronger, more responsive resource for the university community in the years ahead.
