WaveWorks Payroll Information

Payslip availability

March 2026 and April 2026 bi-weekly payslips are now available in WaveWorks. Follow the steps below based on the pay period:

  • Navigate to Gibson and click on WaveWorks
  • Sign in using the Single Sign-On (SSO) button.
  • For March 2026 payslips: From the WaveWorks home page, select Document Records, then click the X next to Excluded to view and download your payslip.
  • For April 2026 bi-weekly payslips and future payslips: From the WaveWorks home page, select Me > Pay > My Payslips to view and download your payslip.
  • Need a payslip from before WaveWorks? Email payroll@tulane.edu

Payroll Deduction Variances

You may notice minor differences on your payslip compared to our previous payroll system. These changes are expected and may be due to:

  • Federal, State, and Local tax withholding: WaveWorks uses current tax tables, which may result in small differences in withholding amounts (typically a few cents to a few dollars).
  • Supplemental Life and AD&D Insurance: WaveWorks calculates premiums using a more precise three-decimal-place rate, compared to the two-decimal-place rounding used in the previous payroll system.
  • Biweekly employees only: WaveWorks calculates pay using exact time worked, while the previous timekeeping system rounded time punches to the nearest tenth of an hour.

Account Strings & ERP Resources

As part of WaveWorks, account strings have changed. To help you navigate the new format:

  • Need to convert an account string? Use the Crosswalk tool (VPN access required) to translate between legacy TAMS account strings and the new WaveWorks account strings. You can also search by Organization or TAMS GL account number.
  • Looking for ERP help? Visit the WaveWorks ERP Support Resources page for training, Quick Reference Guides, and other Finance and Procurement resources.
