- A timecard is created when an employee clocks in at the beginning of a pay period.
- What is the role of a line manager for time and absence?
- A line manager is anyone who has a direct report. Line managers are responsible for approving their employees absences and timecards.
- What is the role of a Time & Labor Department Administrator (TLDA)?
- TLDA is the new term for Timekeepers. They are individuals who can edit and approve timecards on behalf of their department.
- What is the difference between a TLDA and a Line Manager?
- A Line Manager will be able to perform tasks on direct reports for absences, time, learn, compensation, entering ICP (one time payments), creating job requisitions and managing the hiring process.
- A TLDA will focus on timecards and absences in special circumstances. Holiday time will be entered automatically by Payroll department.
- Where do employees go to submit their timesheets?
- Employees can view, edit, and submit their timesheet for approval in the Time and Absences application in the "Me" tab in WaveWorks.
