WaveWorks Extended Project Team Recognized for Achievement

Few projects are as challenging for an organization as the enterprise-wide migration to a new Finance, Human Resources, and Budgeting system.

In early June the wider WaveWorks Project team, including our partners Oracle and Drivestream, gathered to celebrate the launch of the WaveWorks platform following more than two years of intensive work. In fact, some team members have worked on the project for over three years!

And this large team was involved throughout, in planning, design, configuration and many rounds of testing. This hard work continues as the project team continues to train and support users in this transition and resolve issues identified by colleagues.

President Michael Fitts, Provost Robin Forman, and Chief Operating Officer Patrick Norton expressed thanks to the assembled team and guests, emphasizing the many positive impacts this transformation will bring to the university. Tanya O’Rouke, Associate VP, Business Transformation & Optimization, and Judy Vitrano, General Manager of the WaveWorks Project, echoed these thoughts, speaking to the incredible effort by team members.

A huge thank-you to all those who worked on the successful launch and who continue to support all our colleagues!
